DEMOCRATIC REVOLUTION - THE BIAKOYE FALLACY

Democracy has been defined in some circles as government of the people, by the people, for the people. So in every democracy, the key is, 'the people' Any leader from bottom-up and up-bottom who does not consider the people; their plight, their cry, their wishes, their joy, their happiness and all, is a failure from scratch. It has been sang is some reggae circles as well that, you can fool all the people sometimes, you can fool some people all the time, but you can't fool all the people all the time. The people are advised to get up and fight for their rights and when they do, the crazy 'bald' heads run out the town. It doesn't matter if I am physically bald headed or even that crazy bald head, the rights of the people will show. A revolution (from the Latin revolutio: "a turn around") is a fundamental change in power or organizational structures that takes place in a relatively short period of time. Aristotle described two types of political revolution: Complete change from one constitution to another, Modification of an existing constitution. Theorists saw the development of the revolutions as a two-step process; first, some change results in the present situation being different from the past; second, the new situation creates an opportunity for a revolution to occur. In that situation, an event that in the past would not be sufficient to cause a revolution (ex. a war, a riot, a bad harvest), now is sufficient – however if authorities are aware of the danger, they can still prevent a revolution (through reform or repression) It is based on the argument of these theorists that we attempt to put the past, present and future political deceptions in Biakoye into perspective. Revolutions in the recent past occurred through bloody military take overs, youth and mass riots and bad harvest. Today's revolution is democratic, silent, thumb based and unsuspecting. It does not require spiritualism nor impersonation and fraud. It only requires the vigilance of the people and the wisdom of the few vigilant to alert the others. Coming events cast their shadows and when they do, authorities have to institute measures that will prevent revolution. Reform to address the needs of the people and to make available to the masses minimum satisfaction is the way to go. In the past, repression worked because the revolution was violent. Why it is not appropriate now? Because, it is civil, undisclosed and irresistible. I have been following the Biakoye Constituency NDC branch election from afar win keen interest as an interested party and it is uninteresting the machinations and schemes some try to use to retain, maintain or gain power. Thankfully, the days when some persons were called from their bedrooms and kitchens to assume positions are over. Those with interest and ability are contesting for their positions. The days of names change and replacement are under control. The fifty two names that were replaced in 2012 as a result of the criminal break into the late J. J. K's office after his demise, should never be repeated. Even in the days of violent revolution, there were types. When the May 15 1979 coup d'etat by J.J. Rawlings failed, he was in jail when another was staged in his name on June 4 1979. This is to say that, the machinations can at best inure to the benefit of its propagators at the party primaries. What next after the primaries? Will it be used on all the constituents too? I pray it does not get to the point where politics is regarded as a dirty game, since it is a field for clean citizens ready to serve their nation some more. I never thought in Biakoye that there will ever be a time when some names will not be part of the branch executives because such were the big names. Wonders; they say will never end. I never also felt that a day will come when some persons have to refuse to invite other party members to keep their seats. 'when it is coming, it is doing' Destruction for positions is becoming the preserve of some persons in the constituency. Boomerang effect is the guide. As you throw filth, expect same. For every action, there is equal and opposite reaction; says science. Bible puts it rather nicely in asking us to be our brother's keepers; do unto others as you will, they do unto you. My God father was DCE for eight years under former Prez. J. J. but could not boast of even a block but by 'mere' sale of his books, he is a real man. If he had destroyed someone in order to serve Ghana, he would have been a miserable man. Good people can do politics and they in fact do politics. Do not let us live in this fallacy that, politics is a dirty game and only the witty can win. It is service to our nation and people. Let us do it well, for the people know what they want. Allow them to make their choices.

MARTIN KWAKYE.....P.O.BOX 14.....TAPA ABOTOASE

Using 1996 tactics to solve the problems of 2013 is a decision not to resolve the problems at all. The problems of today are more sophisticated, compounded but has immediate resolution tricks. In 1996, it was easy for decisions that affect a group of people to be taken by only a few persons from within or outside the group. This was because, mostly, information accessibility, area accessibility and education were all defficient. Today, the story is different. I wish to say a prayer for Biakoye before I continue with my piece....Lord my God, have mercy on my only district; Biakoye District and bless the people therein, dear God, you said we should pray for our enemies but Lord, we can only pray for faced enemies to repent and not unfaces ones like, voiceof Tapa and Martin Kwakye of Box 14, Tapa Abotoase...my God, these so called patriots do not deserve to live....it is not for me to judge but....cowards can only die before the time you gave them. As I write this letter to Martin and copy to Voiceof Tapa, God, send your most wicked angel upon them with fire, with supply of gas from Seppah Yankey's Ghana gas....In th absence of such insane and wicked characters, Biakoye will be a better place for your children. AMEN. KWAME DENNIS SON OF KWABENA BOYE GRANDSON OF OPANYIN KWABENA KUMAH HSE NUMB: B19/2 TAPA AMANYA MARTIN KWAKYE BETTER BIAKOYE GROUP P. O. BOX 14 TAPA ABOTOASE cc: VOICEOF TAPA FACEBOOK..... Dear friends, brothers or whoever you are, Its been said over and over again that, politicians do not respond to emptiness and share insanity but sometimes, it is good to move away from politics to defend the good name that our forefathers and fathers struggled to acquire. If my grandfather had believed in anonimity, wickedness and destructive tendencies in the name of politics, he would not have lived as long as he did, imbibing in us the strength to face the world without hiding behind others. I sobbed when I read the first piece of Voiceof Tapa, why? how can a faceless coward be the voice of homeland of brave and courageous men? Where we have children and real decendants of Kwasi Kumah and Nana Sasu.....well educated and cultured enough to face challenges of the world. No wonder till date, nobody has owned out as that so called voiceof tapa. In fact, what wiped my tears then was the thunderous response from real men and women of Tapa on facebook where n(s)he showed off. Gabasa, Appiah, Kobra...kudos. Just as we were getting over that, another faceless coward in the name of Martin Kwakye pops up with an anonimous letter against the DCE. Tapa does not belong there because we do not believe in anonimity. When the late Kofi Appiah (may his soul rest in peace) wanted power, he came out boldly to contest. When I wanted power, I also did not hide behind anybody to lie about people...I launched and kept a good campaign....with all the mischief, tricks and dirty campaign, the results was good. That is what Tapa stands for...good people, good neighbours, good challengers. Why use Tapa when you know pretty well that you are not from Tapa? This letter you wrote could not have been written by someone sitting on the fence somewhere in Abotoase. THIS IS AN INSIDER'S LETTER. Martin, how did you get the figures you used? How did you know about the night accidents? How did you know about the conversation between the DCE and DCD? Insider, inpersonator, criminal....Today, the principles of natural justice require that, the DCE is given the opportunity to respond to any allegations made against him. The question is, who are you? How do you substantiate the allegations when you are hiding behind p.o.box 14? You are not ready for the removal of the DCE for you because you do not deserve to be what you are seeking. How can you seek to be a DCE through such fraud? Biakoye deserves better. After my prayer to God to do away with you completely, I pray that you come out to respond and show your face. Hmmmmmm, brothers, you remember what happened to our brother Yaw Mekoe? We nearly mistook him for voiceof tapa ooo. But Yaw, you have since not called me, why? I pray you are also not behind voiceof Tapa. Such filth is not good for your image. Before I say good bye, there is a paragraph in the letter against the DCE that sought to say that, some party gurus, the constituency chairman and dce are sabotaging work in the district because their choice of parliamentary candidate did not win. This is irresponsible, irrelevant for the cause he sought. All the same, for the sake of the people of Biakoye, I will end this solemn prayer to God, Martin Kwakye and Voiceof Tapa who per my assessment do not come from Tapa....using the name of Tapa for the selfish and myopic political ambitions. Strong though...the mildest in defence of Tapa and Biakoye.....Good people say AMEN.
