NANA'S PRAYER FOR ELECTION 2012

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). He was the candidate in 2008 after winning a congress that was described as a contest of seventeen (17) robbers to elect the most hardened robber by the general secretary of the ruling NDC; Johnson Asiedu Nketia. Before his departure to the UK to meet blasphemous gay prime minister David Cameron, I overhead him say a prayer to God that is worth sharing.

Funnily, the NPP and its supporters before the run-off of election 2008 described H. E. John Evans Atta-Mills as a serial loser for losing elections 2000, 2000; run-off, 2004 and 2008 round one. Fortunately, he can now be described as miraculous election winner. Miraculous because after serially losing, he was almost broke, 'ill' (as his opponents put it) and had a vibrant media against him. In the face of all these and more he won in round two and TAIN. They also described the president as a Rawlings poodle.

Nana Addo was in the presidential primaries of his party in 1996 against ex-president Kufuor but he lost. This world aclaimed freedom fighter was forced to shut up towards the 2004 election where the ex-president was not contested. In the contest of the 17 powerful men, Nana Addo did not win but in the usual NPP stage-manged comedy, Alan Kyeremanten was forced to step down. If only Alan knew his opponent loses steam in run-offs, he would have gone for it. Unfortunately, his giving up for Nana made his supporters lose confidence in him. The result of the NPP's recent primaries is a justification of loss of confidence in Alan from his mistake in the 2007 Arts festival. "NPP ON STAGE 2007" at the Great Hall, Legon.

"Oh Lord my God in heaven, I am going to meet Cameron, what will I say to please Ghanaians without hurting my friend? I don't want to lose election 2012 to retire. I lost in 1996 to Kufuor, in 2003, it was my turn but I did his will by keeping quiet. Lord, I should have been tough like Nana Konadu. Thank you for 2007 because I led and twisted Alan's hand to win. As for that Alan, he is finished. He is so silent I can't believe it. Lord you are powerful. I didn't mean to say all die be die but God, once it is going down well with the people, forgive me and let me benefit from it. Father God, my daddy won so winning is my inheritance; let me enjoy it. The NDC keeps talking about shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, sheeeeeeeeee sheeeeeeeeeeeee and the like but father, how can I survive it? My friends and supporters enjoy my speeches but others complain. Bottocks was harmless, fix it was without blemish. but look at how the NDC made it look. Atta is suffering and I will suffer if I should win but God I want to suffer. Atta's suffering is better than mine now. Father, the flight is ready so I will keep talking to you on the plane"

Listening to Nana, I said to myself, this man does not even know what to tell God. What is he going to tell Ghanaians for them to vote for him? God bless our homeland Ghana and leave us in the hands of Evans Atta-Mills because Nana Addo can not help Ghana at all.
